currently doing it as a hobby while working, mostly SFW artist but can be a bit mouthy language-wise. Native English, Beginner Japanese. Draws mostly kemonomimi and anthro Characters, more offline than online

Mostly been accessing the Internet on Mobile, so this Carrd might look a bit odd if viewed on a PC.
I don't restrict users from interacting unless they are disrespectful to others or myself as well as show any sort of phobic reactions. Very receptive when it comes to other folks that are fans of franchises I enjoy. It's a long list to put here and it's almost always changing so you're best bet is to just follow along with my socials and see them for yourself.

Lists only my current socials. All have been active and checked on a daily basis.
I have a list of all links so if they're not on either here nor my straw page, I might not be active on there at all!

About

Name: Julie P.
Pronouns: he/she
Age: Late 20s
Kemonomimi Freak
Associates of Art Holder
Self exploring on being an AgeDreamer
Native English speaker, beginner Japanese and struggling to keep a consistent study schedule...
Games enough but not considered a gamer herself
Supernatural creature enthusiast
Likes animals, but mostly foxes and wolves
Former CoHost User now just a roamer (See you, Eggbug dude)

I guess I could describe myself as an Angsty Midwestern Dork with a love for foxes and an undying hate for her own anxious thoughts. I enjoy the usual cooking and reading, but I want to do nothing more than to draw 24/7. Unfortunately, I end up doing gaming a bit instead...I usually don't like to say anything personal about myself but I overdo it when I end up sharing it anyways. Not exactly an activist myself but I do encourage the idea of taking care of one's mental health.
Japanese Learning

Current progress: Know a small handful of kanji; currently in refresh mode
Pardon the mess. Currently figuring out a decent layout that wouldn't be so overwhelming... I haven't been the most diligent learner to my knowledge but I still have been wanting to get back into studies.Only sites I have been trying to use a bit are Renshuu for general learning and Natively to track watched and read materials for learning. Various other resources are books.
Spanish Learning

Current progress: Refresher Courses; aka Workbooks made for kids but still pretty simple enough to digest
Currently a work in progress.Had known a small fraction of Spanish since elementary and needed to refresh since I haven't retained much from highschool classes from a little over 10 years ago. I do use Natively here as well but haven't been getting much luck with finding other apps that offer the language for those that have little financial support to unlock the rest of the content.
I had considered doing Duolingo again but I have had a rough experience with them and their lives system. What they believe would help with retention and what I believe tend to clash. Long story short: I don't do Duolingo because the lives system is terrible. It only serves to push the user to pay for premium which isn't that good of a deal to my knowledge...
